Chalk Paint Recipe

BHG Painted Upholstered Chair

So my first project is going to be the upholstered chair, the instructions say to use Anne Sloan chalk paint, but i found a recipe for making your own chalk paint and I've used in on wood and it turned out well so I'm going to use it instead.  I'm also going to use my own design instead of the rose.  

(I'm really bad at following directions).
